What makes Moss Signs work
Moss signs are made from preserved reindeer moss or ball moss set into white or coloured acrylic letter trays. The moss is stabilised – it needs no light, no water and no care – and stays soft and richly green for years.

There are two constructions, and they look very different.
Moss in your logo shape: every letter is an acrylic tray with a return, filled with moss. The logo itself is green and soft, and the wall around it stays clear. It looks the most natural and suits logos with bold, clean shapes.
Logo on a moss panel: a framed moss panel forms the background, with acrylic or metal letters mounted on it. That keeps even a fine logo easy to read. The letters can even be made as halo-lit letters. Large moss panels also noticeably improve the acoustics in a room.
Reindeer moss or ball moss?

The two can be combined, too: a reindeer-moss logo on a wall with ball-moss accents, for example. The design preview shows you the effect first.
What your logo needs
Moss needs area. Very thin lines, fine serifs and small text can't sensibly be filled with moss. We make those details in acrylic, a strapline under a moss logo for instance. The bolder and more compact your logo, the better it looks in moss. We check this in the design preview.
The right place for your moss sign
- Indoors: preserved moss is made for interiors only, not outdoors.
- No direct sun: strong sunlight bleaches the green over time.
- Normal room climate: very dry air right above a radiator makes the moss brittle, and constant damp harms it too. Normal office or living-room air is ideal.
- Don't spray it: the moss needs no water. Remove dust gently with a soft brush.
It's mounted with adhesive or stand-offs and needs no power. Everything you need is included. If you don't have an installer, we can help you find one near you.
