A spa reception has to do two things at once: settle the guest and show the brand. A neon sign above the desk handles both, because it gives light without an extra lamp hanging in the sightline.
In the picture shown, “The Glow Spa” sits behind a pale wood reception desk, flanked by tall pampas grass. In hotels and day spas this is a genuinely practical solution: the lettering marks the spa area unmistakably, even when guests approach from a hotel corridor.
