What makes Halo-Lit Letters work
Halo-lit letters glow backwards rather than forwards: the LED sits inside the letter and throws its light onto the wall, so every character stands out with a soft glow. The face stays matte in a metal or color finish – discreet by day, striking by night.
Made from acrylic, halo letters are light, precise and possible in almost any color and finish – from brushed gold to matte black. Ideal for interiors where lighting should feel refined rather than loud.

Only the halo
Only the light on the wall behind the letters glows. The face stays matte and unlit.
The wall
Looks best on light or matte walls. On very dark surfaces the halo is barely visible; front- and halo-lit letters are the better choice there.
Stand-off
2–3 cm (about 1 in) from the wall gives an even, soft ring of light.
Fine details
Very thin lines in a logo throw little light onto the wall. We check this in the design preview and suggest an adjustment if needed.

For a lobby or reception area, halo-lit letters are usually the first choice: they look premium, don't glare and suit calm interiors. See LED neon signs and channel letters for the other options. Planning your logo on the lobby wall
Size: as a guide, the logo can take up about a third to a half of the clear wall width. Too small and it looks lost; too big and it overwhelms the room. You'll see it on a photo of your own wall in the design preview.
Height: the center of the logo usually sits slightly above eye level, so the reception desk doesn't hide it.
Wall: light, matte walls show the halo best. Glossy surfaces reflect the LEDs, and very dark walls swallow the light.
Daylight: in very bright rooms with large windows the halo is subtle by day and comes into its own in the evening. That's why we design the face to look on-brand even without the light.
Finish and light color
The matte face decides how your logo looks by day: brushed gold, silver or copper, black, white or any RAL color. For the light you can choose warm white, cool white or color.
Our tip: match the light color to the room lighting. Warm white suits wood, brass and warm light; cool white suits concrete, glass and clean lines.
Power without an electrician
Halo-lit letters run on a 12 V power supply with a plug, so an outlet nearby is all you need. It looks neatest when the cable runs through the wall to an outlet behind the desk. Ideally, plan that before you paint or remodel. The letters are mounted with stand-offs or adhesive, and everything you need is included.
