Illuminated Signs & LED Neon Signs in Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, shop signs follow the Department of Municipalities and Transport's Commercial Signage Regulations; the signboard permit is applied for through the TAMM portal. Key points of the regulations:

• Lighting: cables and bulbs must be inside the sign – no external lighting, except for 3D letters without a background and banners (fixtures max 15 cm out).
• Content: your business name, optionally a second language in Latin letters and your logo; no advertising for third-party products.
• Sign types: stencil-cut, 3D letters with or without background, internal window signs, banners and projecting signs.
• Projecting signs: one per business in a colonnade, up to 0.56 m².
